Naturally Cure an Ear Infection

I woke up to both of my ears aching intensely. It was an ear infection and the pain was unbearable. I had already heard of this natural remedy but didn't have a chance to try it until now. It WORKS!!! My ear infection was gone in three days. Below you will find the instructions! .-_-

You will need:

Two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
Two cloves of garlic
Plastic spoon
Glass jar
Strainer
Small plastic tupperware
Small pot of boiling water.

Instructions:

1. Bring water in a small pot to a boil
2. While the water is warming up, slice the cloves of garlic in quarters
3. Add the garlic to the olive oil in the plastic tupperware
4. Seal the tupperware and place in the small pot of boiling water. (You could warm it up in the microwave but I wanted to avoid any kind of radiation) Let it sit for about 5 minutes or until the garlic is soft.
5. Remove the tupperware and be careful not to burn yourself. Let it cool until it's room temperature.
6. Strain the olive oil into the CLEAN glass jar
7. Using the plastic spoon, scoop only a little bit and place three drops in each ear. Repeat twice a day until symptoms subside. The mixture will last for about a week.

My Pre-Shampoo Homemade Hair Mask

Instead of buying a hair mask, I make my own and it's only TWO ingredients. Just two! Simplicity. Simplicity. Simplicity.

Section off hair in small manageable sections. In a medium bowl, add two tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and then add the flesh of half of an avocado. Mash very well. You may need to play around with the portions depending on your hair length.

The consistency should be like thick yogurt. Begin applying it to your hair section by section. Make sure to apply it throughout the entire shaft especially the ends. Once applied to all sections, I like to release all the sections and use the remainder of the mask to my ends, edges, or wherever I missed. I then tie my hair up in an Odango bun (high bun) so it stays off my neck and leave it on for about 30 minutes to an hour. It will harden--that's ok, it's suppose to. :-)

Afterwards, I wash my hair as usual. With one use, my hair feels so silky and smooth. Hope you all get the same results. Enjoy!
